The Monokini

As summer nears, a wide array of suits is becoming more and more available. A new sort of the swim suit is  is like a normal swimsuit with cut outs on the sides, aka a monokini! These are ideal for someone who wants to look fashionable on the beach without wearing a bikini; either for modesty or for the more self-concious. Gypsy and Tribal

It seems like every store I go into this summer has at least two or three pieces in a tribal pattern and another two or three in a gypsy style. Topshop has numerous gypsy pieces (examples below) and one of which is actually a combination of the gypsy style and the tribal patterns (second one down). Fantastic choices if you ask me!

My Dream Shoes

In case you can't tell by the signature red sole, these pairs of gorgeous heels are Christian Louboutin. They are slightly out of my current budget, but one day a pair of his shoes will be mine. 

A Little Outfit I want

I love these shorts! I think they are adorable and perfect for the 4th of July! I sort of want them. They are from Topshop for around £30 (I think). Outfit Idea: I would pair this possibly with a plain white T/tank top, a simple black zip-up hoodie, and with a pair of similar Nikes for around £70:

Clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery, accessories... I love it all! I'll be honest though. I am not some fashion expert from Vogue, or any of the other fantastic fashion mags. I am merely a college student who has a decent sense of fashion. I am an Anthropology major and currently also a French major. I am a sorority girl but I have grown up all around the world. I like all sorts of different fashions and often have pieces from a variety of styles and trends. This is going to be my place to explore bits of fashion that I like, am addicted to, or want.

Sometimes I wonder what to wear for specific occasions and want a place to go for quick advice, so I am hoping to provide that here for others. I hope that any ideas that I come up with will be accompanied by any that y'all have.
